My advice would be to make sure you set aside enough time to do adequate research for your topic. Also make sure you pick a topic that has enough information to research.
I think I strengthened my time management skills. I did not have a lot of extra time for class but I made the most of the time I did have.
I have never been a fan of Comp classes, but this one was not that bad. I still would not say it was fun. :)

Class is Over!
I am glad class is finally over. This change of shifts has kicked my butt. I really need a couple of weeks off from school so I can regroup. Now they want to change my shift again to 6pm to 4:30am. I wish everyone luck in their future classes.

The Night Shift
I recently was promoted at the place of my employment. I am now a manager of receiving. It is definitely a good thing but it comes with a price. The moved me from the weekend shift that I loved to the weekday night shift. I now work 4 nights versus the 3 days I had been working. Being on nights has really thrown me off on my school work. I don't get much sleep through the week now. When the weekend comes I have to find time for sleep and to watch my energetic 11 month old. On top of all this, I do not get to spend time with my wife anymore because she works the weekend shift. For most couples I know, this would not be a problem, but I actually like being around my wife. It'll all work out though. The extra money I am making will be great for vacations.

Brandon Marshall!!
I am a huge Miami Dolphins fan and for years we have needed a #1 WR. A couple of years ago we wasted our first round pick on a bum named Teg Ginn Jr. He hasn't done anything for 3 years. Just the other day, we finally got a player the caliber of what we have needed. Brandon Marshall is an explosive WR and definitely make us a team people will have to worry about. I can't wait until the season begins.

Ahmadinejad: Obama ‘can’t do a damn thing’
So today I go online to check my e-mail and on the msn.com website I see the above Topic...Ahmadinejad: Obama ‘can’t do a damn thing’. So I start to think, man this guy in Iran is really going crazy. I figured at any moment CNN would have a breaking news alert saying we have declared war on Iran. I then read the article. It is so crazy how the media twists words to make them seem totally different then how the were meant to be seen. I will paste that part of the article:
"American materialist politicians, whenever they are beaten by logic, immediately put their finger on the trigger like cowboys," he said. "Mr. Obama, you are a newcomer (to politics). Wait until your sweat dries and get some experience. Be careful not to read just any paper put in front of you or repeat any statement recommended," Ahmadinejad said in the speech, aired live on state TV. "(American officials) bigger than you, more bullying than you, couldn't do a damn thing, let alone you."
Now this is totally different then what was portrayed in the title of the article. What he said here has some merit and makes sense. I don't agree with his tactics over there in Iran, but again, the media portrays things so differently than how they really are, who knows who is telling the truth on any of these issues.

Moving Week
My wife and I have bought our first house. We closed Tuesday, 3/30, which happened to be my wife's birthday. It has been a very stressful month and the last 2 days have been crazy. We have been trying to move all of our junk out of the apartment we were in by the 3/31 deadline. I really hate moving. At least now I know it'll be a while before we move again.

Palin and McCain
Hello All.
I am confused about recent developments in the political world. Just a few months ago Sarah Palin and John McCain hated each other. Now it seems that they a BFFs and are no longer republicans. They are now part of the so called Tea Party. This is real stupid and the bad thing is people buy into it. They are no different than they were a few months ago. Now instead of saying hey we are republicans, they say hey we are part of this movement that have republican biews but are violent and some of our followers are racists that yell out derogatory things in the beginning of our rallies. We call ourselves the Tea Party! If Palin becomes our next President, my family and I will be leaving the US.
